Disclosure requirement on the basis of Regulation 2016/679/UE of the European Parliament and the Council from 27.04.2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/WE (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ L 119, p. 1) (hereinafter GDPR).

1. The owner of www.kingmakers.academy is Kingmakers Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Chmielna 73 Street, 00-801 Warsaw.

2. The administrator of your personal data is Kingmakers Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Chmielna 73 Street, 00-801 Warsaw entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs in the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw in Warsaw, , 13th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS 0000709298, NIP: 5213806327, REGON: 368996320, hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator”.

3. The Administrator processes your data because you have expressed interest in:

  • receiving information about trainings, industry events, special offers and substantive content generated by Kingmakers™,
  • participating in training sessions or other events organised by the Administrator.

4. In connection with that, the Administrator will be processing your personal data (such as name and surname, name of the company, address, phone number, email address) entered voluntarily by you into contact and notification forms regarding content, products and services listed in point 3.

Providing your personal data is voluntary, but is necessary for:

  • providing services based on signed contracts, commissions, and orders,
  • preparing offers and signing contracts for the provision of the Administrator’s services

5. The Administrator makes every possible effort to protect you and your data and ensures that they are:

  • processed in accordance with the law,
  • collected for specified and lawful purposes and not subjected to further processing noncomplying with those purposes,
  • factually correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed and stored in a form enabling the identification of the person to whom they relate, no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.

6. In order to service the query or provide a service, the Administrator transfers your data to other entities, such as:

  • courier and postal service (in order to deliver an invoice, training certificate or training materials),
  • entities and subcontractors providing IT and accounting services (in order to competently handle inquiries or deliver the ordered service),
  • the International Coach Federation and/or EMCC and Izba Coachingu (in order to document participation in a training program).

All entities entrusted with the processing of personal data by the Administrator guarantee the use of appropriate measures for the protection and security of personal data as required by law.

7. Your personal data may be transferred to a Third Country, i.e., countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), on the basis of:

  • art. 45 para. 1 GDPR – a decision of the European Commission stating an adequate level of protection (in the case of countries for which such a decision was issued),
  • art. 46 para. 2, point c) GDPR – standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (in case of other countries).

8. Your data is processed for the duration of time necessary to:

  • handle your inquiry,
  • handle your application to participate in a training program or event, provide you with the ordered content,
  • be able to implement the consent willingly obtained from you for marketing communications (until such consent in withdrawn),
  • implement the cooperation covered by the contract (until its expiry).

9. You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy of it,
  • transfer your data,
  • object to processing your data,
  • rectify / correct your data,
  • delete your data, limit the processing of your data,
  • file a complaint to a supervisory body – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

The rules related to the implementation of the above rights are described in detail in art. 16-21 GDPR.

10. The Administrator makes every effort to ensure all means of physical, technical and organizational protection of personal data against their accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, use or access, are used in accordance with all applicable regulations.

Participants who wish to report discrimination are encouraged to follow the grievance policy below and Kingmakers Academy will promptly investigate all claims and reports of inappropriate conduct.

Grievance Policy

Kingmakers Academy seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to attempt to solve any grievances in a timely and fair manner. Participants have the right to file a grievance regarding presentation or content, facility concerns, or instructor/faculty behavior. All grievances will be addressed to the best of our ability to prevent further problems. A process for filing grievances can be found below:

  • A participant should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the educator/trainer, staff, or participant with whom they have an issue. If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual, they can proceed to step 2.
  • If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual with whom they have a grievance, or are unable to resolve the issue directly, participants should submit a written grievance to the program manager within 7 days. The program manager will review the issue and talk to the student within 7 days of receiving the complaint. The program manager will work with all parties involved to resolve the issue.
  • If a participant does not feel the issue is resolved, a written request for an appeal should be sent to Kingmakers Academy Program’s owners: Anna Pyrek (anna.pyrek@kingmakers.pl) or Szymon Herbeć (szymon.herbec@kingmakers.pl) for review. This appeal should include the original complaint and reason(s) the participant is unsatisfied with the resolution attempt(s). Appeals are reviewed and a written response will be provided to the participant within 14 days. All appeal decisions are final.
Participation Policy

Success in our program requires full commitment by all participants. By enrolling in this course, participants agree to being fully present during all sessions and participate to the best of their ability. This includes arriving on time, abiding by the code of conduct, and engaging in course activities.

Attendance

In order to provide you with the minimum required training hours for certification, it is important that you are present at all course meeting.

If you have an emergency or become ill and are not able to attend a coaching session, please contact your instructor and Katarzyna Matusiewicz, biuro@kingmakers.pl, phone: +48 531 318 868 Chmielna 73 Street, 00-801 Warsaw, Poland immediately.

You will be expected to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a coaching session outside the live session to make up for the missed session.

If you need to miss more than 1 hours of the course, you will have the option to work with the instructor to cover the missed material at your own expense or register for another course.

If you miss mentor coaching, supervision or intervision you will need to arrange and pay for individual sessions to complete the required hours to satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements.

An absence of more than four hours is treated as an interruption of participation in the program and the need to re-join the program at a later date for a fee.

Petitions to this policy are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to the instructor and Kingmakers Academy (Katarzyna Matusiewicz, biuro@kingmakers.pl, phone: +48 531 318 868 Chmielna 73 Street, 00-801 Warsaw, Poland).

Course Engagement

Our courses are designed to be interactive and engaging for our participants. It is therefore an expectation that you participate in course activities, including dialogue with the course instructor and peers, mock coaching activities, and experiential learning exercises. If you are unable to participate in an activity, please inform your instructor as soon as possible. Please refer to the code of conduct for additional details.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner during all sessions. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Arriving on time to all sessions.
  • Attending all live sessions and mentor coaching sessions.
  • Having your camera on for virtual live sessions.
  • Participating fully in all sessions and mentor coaching sessions. This includes being prepared for the session, involving yourself in discussions and activities, assuming responsibility for your learning, and contributing to the learning of others.
  • Engaging in discussions with integrity and honesty.
  • Being respectful of your fellow participants and instructors, including silencing your cell phone, not texting, and other disruptive behaviors.
  • Embracing diversity and inclusion while respecting the dignity and humanity of others.
Partial Completion Policy
Will offer credit for partial completion of a course

Kingmakers will offer credit for partial completion of a course. The number of hours awarded will depend on the number of hours of curriculum received. If you are interested in receiving partial credit for a course in which you are currently or were previously enrolled, please contact Katarzyna Matusiewicz, biuro@kingmakers.pl, phone: +48 531 318 868 Chmielna 73 Street, 00-801 Warsaw, Poland no more than 120 days after the course has ended. Please include details about the course in which you were enrolled, the number of credit hours you are seeking, and any additional relevant information. If approved, you will receive a certificate of credit from Kingmakers Academy indicating the number of training hours completed.

Payment/Fees Policy

All registrations are secured on a first-come, first-served basis. Your registration in a course is dependent upon receipt of full payment. We accept payment by bank transfer, online store payment or BLIK. All payment will be in PLN or EUR.

Refund Policy

A cost-free withdrawal from participating in the program is possible on the basis of a written note submitted to: biuro@kingmakers.pl no later than 21 days before the program starts. Refunds will be made within 7 days following receipt of cancellation or withdrawal requests.

Written notice of cancellation shall be effective on the date the withdrawal is received by Kingmakers Academy.

In the event of withdrawing from participation less than 21 days before the start date or non-attendance, the Participant is not entitled to a refund. The Participant may however choose another person to attend as a substitute without additional fees.

In case of withdrawing from participation later than 21 days before the start date or non-attendance, the User can attend the Program at another time for a fee equaling 60% of the entire Program cost.

Registration Modifications

Modifications to registration, including substitutions of participants, must be completed at least seven days before the program date. Participants may contact Kingmakers Academy to modify their registration at biuro@kingmakers.pl, phone: +48 531 318 868 Chmielna 73 Street, 00-801 Warsaw, Poland. Course changes will be allowed as long as there are spots available.

Transfer of Credit Policy
Kingmakes Academy will accept partial credit from other organizations or programs

If you have completed a Level 1 program at another organization, we will apply your completed credit hours to your Level 2 program. You must provide documentation of your Level 1 completion, including the organization, number of hours completed, completion certificate, and contact information for the organization or trainer. You may be asked for additional details or documentation on an as-needed basis. Illness Policy

Statement on Ethics, Integrity, Transparency

As an ICF Accredited provider, our organization adheres to and emphasizes the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics. The ICF Code of ethics describes the ICF core values, ethical principles, and standards of behaviour for all ICF professionals. Meeting these ethical standards of behaviour is the first of the ICF core coaching competencies. You can read more about the ICF Code of Ethics here.

Additionally, Kingmakers Academy commits to acting with integrity and transparency. We hold ourselves and our participants to the highest level of integrity and strive to be as transparent as possible by explicitly stating measures being taken to provide programs in an ethical manner. We do not believe in using manipulative or dishonest sales tactics and strive to provide a safe and ethical sales process. Further, we work to provide fair and equitable pricing for all programs to ensure access and quality of coaching education.
